About Donoogle

Donoogle, the donation Google, is a search engine with a difference, we donate our profits to charity. Every time you do a search on Donoogle.com, we get paid a little (really little) bit of money. You choose from one of our charities & we will give a big chunk of that little bit of money to that charity. The more people who use Donoogle.com, the bigger that little pile of money will be, so tell all your friends, save Donoogle.com as your homepage, tattoo it on your forehead (disclaimer – do not tattoo it on your forehead) and give some money to charity without spending a cent.

Every month we will update how much money has been donated to each charity, so you can see for yourself how it is all going.

This is a bit of an experiment really, we do not want to make any promises about raising $X or anything, we will just see how it goes. Also, we don’t want to pretend we are better people than what we really are. We need to cover our costs so not every single cent raised will be going to the charities, but at least 50% of it will as we are a pretty cheap outfit to run.

As we are based in New Zealand, our donated money is given to the New Zealand arm of the international charities which have given us permission to use their logos. We ask them to direct our funds to international causes though, so wherever you are in the world, you will still be helping out those who are most in need, just by using this search engine.

Well, that is about it really. Choose a charity, do a search & raise some money for some good causes, it won’t cost you a cent.
